Rights and Reproductions
Kemper Art Museum has color transparencies, slides, or high-resolution digital files available for approximately 300 of our most frequently reproduced objects; black-and-white reproductive material is available for an additional 375 objects in our collection. New photography can usually be arranged for an additional fee.
To determine what materials are available for artwork reproduction, please email Rights and Reproductions and include the following information:
- The title and a short description of your project
- The estimated print run and distribution of the publication
- The approximate size of the reproduction (1/4 page, 1/2 page, full page)
- The placement of the reproduction (cover or interior)
- Whether the image will be in color or black and white
- Whether the project is commercial or non-profit
Guidelines for image use
Our fees vary according to the scope and purpose of each project. The information above will allow us to quote you the appropriate fees for reproducing the artwork.
Typically, reproduction requests can be completed within two weeks. Whenever possible, rush orders may be accommodated, although additional fees will apply.
To proceed with the request, please download the Reproduction Permission Form (PDF: 426 KB). Mail the completed form to:
