Life and Works of Harriett Goodhue Hosmer

Harriet Hosmer, one of the first female sculptors, created the statue of Missouri's first senator, Thomas Hart Benton, that has graced Lafayette Park since 1868. This celebration of her life and work, organized by the Lafayette Park Conservancy, will take place with a reception Friday evening at University of Missouri-St. Louis and a symposium and Saturday morning at Washington University's Steinberg Hall Auditorium.
